Finally starting to see the sun again around here and that means either A) buying a whole new wardrobe or B) reusing pieces you wore in the colder months in this weird in-between weather. I think it’s safe to say that a lot of us are in the option B category. So, I created three spring-ready looks that incorporate pieces that are wintery or not necessarily spring.
#1- The Thermal Tee
You wore this with leggings, jeans, boots, and a heavy coat twice your weight. It was your go to shirt when it was super cold and miserable outside. How are you supposed to wear this now?
Hat= Forever 21
Top and Shoes=Free People
Lace Shorts=Pac Sun
Tada! The super wintery thermal gets a update! You can skip a jacket with this one and be perfectly comfortable in the cold morning and not too hot during the day and night. The trendy black hat with the lace shorts give the look an effortless festival vibe.
#2- The Flannel
Who doesn’t have a flannel in their closet? Perfect for layering during the colder months, it is a staple that everyone has. Plaid is usually a fall/winter pattern, so how do we make this springy?
Babydoll Dress= Brandy Melville
Flannel=Forever 21
Dr. Martens= Journeys
Use your flannel with a super adorable baby doll dress in the same color family as your flannel for a cute mix and match look! Paired with some combat boots like my Dr. Martens here, the perfect 90’s grunge look is complete!
#3-The Sweater
The super warm, very fuzzy, sweater. What you put on when you want to look cute but you are very lazy, so you just pair it with leggings, boots and you are head out into the cold. How does the fuzzy sweater translate into spring?
Sweater= H&M
Romper= Wet Seal
Flats= Urban Outfitters
Fuzzy sweater paired with floral romper= match made in heaven. It is a super retro look, especially when paired with flats. Rompers/jumpsuits are also having a major comeback, with 70’s inspired looks popping up on runways everywhere.

Hope you guys enjoyed this post! I had a lot of fun laying out the outfits. Also, I apologize for some of the kooky lighting in the pictures today, my dorm lights just didn’t want to work with me today lol.
